    Russell Johnson

    Board Member at Large

    Russell Johnson is a long time Bakersfield resident where he has spent the majority of his life. He was born at Memorial Hospital in 1979 and attended local schools graduating from Stockdale High School in 1997. After obtaining his undergraduate requirements at Bakersfield College he transferred to the University of California Santa Barbara where he obtained his degree in history.

    Jeremy Meadors

    Treasurer

    Jeremy Meadors grew up in the Los Angeles area before moving to Bakersfield in 1989. He is a graduate of Foothill High School and attended Bakersfield College, winning over 50 local, state and national awards for journalism excellence. He spent time during college as a columnist and freelancing for the Bakersfield Californian.

    Erin Mykleby joined the CSU Bakersfield Athletics Department on Oct. 1, 2018. She serves as the Athletics Annual Fund Coordinator.

    Nick Langer

    Board Chair

    Nick is a Senior Risk Advisor with TSIB and California Director of Property & Casualty Insurance. Nick develops and manages risk management insurance programs for regional and national based businesses. Nick specializes in all lines of property and casualty insurance with a focus in complex risk management and workers’ compensation.

    Jamie Absher

    Board Member

    Jamie Absher was born and raised in Bakersfield, CA. She is alum to South High, Bakersfield College, and Fresno Pacific University. She is currently enrolled in the College of Law at Oklahoma University where she is studying for her Masters of Legal Studies in Oil, Gas and Energy Law. She will have her MLS in December 2019.
