William B. Choi, Co-President

William B. Choi is an award winning entrepreneur with a passion to help improve people’s lives and the environment. William was formerly a Management Consultant with PricewaterhouseCoopers and managed several successful startups and exits, facilitating sensitive family business matters smoothly. As an advocate for private and public environmental health, William has been involved with proposals and revisions of new environmental management action plans in the natural resources sector in British Columbia. During his years as a serial entrepreneur thereafter, he has been involved with a number of patented projects and won several awards for his innovations and opening new markets. William was the co-recipient of The New-Canadian Entrepreneur Award in 2003 and was also nominated for The 2005 Young Entrepreneur of The Year Award by The Business Development Bank of Canada. William's new market penetration also won him North America’s first international award at a prestigious global competition in Brussels, Belgium, two years in a row for product innovation. 

William graduated from St. Georges' School in Vancouver, BC, and earned his BA Honours degree at the University of Western Ontario, Canada. He later graduated from Yonsei University in Seoul, Korea, with his MBA in International Management, completing his studies as a Research Fellow at the Keio Graduate School of Business & Commerce in Tokyo, Japan, and has been trained in advanced carbon finance strategies. William is an active volunteer in the community, and was a founding member of several associations such as the Vancouver Entrepreneurs Toastmasters Club and The Canada Export Centre.  



 

Kevin P. Kane, Co-President

Kevin P. Kane  founder and Chief Executive Officer of CleanTech Korea, Global Cleantech Cluster Association Chief Representative to Korea, Chief Technology Advisor to the Asia-Pacific Business and Technology Report, senior business development advisor and incubation consultant to two solar companies, and a former energy market analyst with the Korea Energy Economic Institute as well as a former international law and foreign affairs director with the U.S. government and military.

Mr. Kane graduated wtih a B.A. in political science from Georgia State University and an M.A. with a concentration in trade and energy from Seoul National University.
