Michael Teplitsky


 		  

Founder

Michael Teplitsky is a Senior Associate at Wynnchurch Capital, a $500 million private equity firm.  Michael concentrates particularly on the energy and power services sectors as well as on niche manufacturing, business services, and industrial services companies.  Prior to Wynnchurch, he was an Associate at Lime Rock Partners, a $3.0 billion global growth capital firm providing private equity capital to energy companies.  After completing Lime Rock's associate program, Michael left to pursue his MBA.  Michael began his career as an Analyst within the Investment Banking Department at UBS where he executed financial advisory and financing transactions as a member of the Global Energy Group.  Michael has also spent time in Moscow at TNK-BP, the Russian-British joint venture between Tyumen Oil Company (TNK) and BP plc, where he was the Strategic Advisor to the Executive Director. 

Michael received a B.A. with honors from Northwestern University and an M.B.A. from Northwestern's Kellogg School of Management.  He is a native of St. Petersburg, Russia.  Michael co-founded YPE in 2005.
