Michael Teplitsky

Founder
Michael Teplitsky is a senior associate at Wynnchurch Capital, a $500 million private equity firm. Michael concentrates on energy and power services investments.
Prior to Wynnchurch, Michael was an associate at Lime Rock Partners, a $3 billion global private equity firm providing capital to exploration and production and oilfield services companies. After completing Lime Rock's associate program, Michael left to pursue his M.B.A. Michael began his career as an analyst within the Investment Banking Department at UBS where he executed strategic advisory and financing transactions as a member of the Global Energy Group. Michael has also spent time in Moscow at BP's Russian joint-venture, TNK-BP, where he was the strategic advisor to the executive director. Michael is active in business, educational, and civic affairs. He serves on the board of directors of YPE, Kellogg Alumni in Private Equity, and the Chicago Children's Choir Ambassadors Board. He is a member of the Kellogg School of Management Dean's Council, the Illinois Venture Capital Association, the Canadian Venture Capital and Private Equity Association, and the Turnaround Management Association. He previously served as a board member of the Donors Forum and is a past member of the Council on Foreign Relations. Michael is an avid ice hockey player. Michael received a B.A. with honors from Northwestern University and an M.B.A. from Northwestern's Kellogg School of Management. He is a native of St. Petersburg, Russia.
