John Raines is a member of the Corporate Acquisitions and Divestitures group at Devon Energy (NYSE: DVN), a large independent E&P company based in Oklahoma City.  John’s responsibilities include coordinating the evaluation and execution of Devon’s acquisition and divestiture opportunities. 

Originally from Wichita Falls, TX, John obtained his BBA majoring in Energy Management and Finance from the University of Oklahoma in 2005.  Previously, John graduated from the Bryce Harlow Institute on Business and Government Affairs at Georgetown University in 2003.  He joined the YPE OKC Leadership Team in 2009.
