Denver McPhail is a Landman with Samson Investment Company. Samson is a privately-held independent exploration and production company headquartered in Tulsa, Oklahoma. With an energy asset base of 85% natural gas, Samson steadily continues to profit and expand. Prior to Samson, Denver was in the Business Development Group with Halliburton Energy Services in Fort Smith, Arkansas and Tulsa.

Originally from Snyder, Oklahoma, Denver went on to attain a B.B.A. in Marketing and International Business from the University of Oklahoma. Throughout his time there, he was actively involved in the JCPenney Leadership Program; a widely respected program designed to promote, strengthen, and exemplify great leadership in its members. Presently, Denver plans to bring those skills along with industry experience to the YPE Leadership Team, which he joined in 2008.
