Carrie Carson

Carrie Carson is an Associate in the Energy Group at Wells Fargo Bank, where she works with companies in the oilfield service and equipment sector.  Previously, Carrie worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers and is a licensed CPA. 

Carrie earned a BBA in MS in Finance and BBA in accounting from Texas A&M University, and is a native Houstonian.  Carrie joined the YPE Leadership Team in 2008.

Theresa Eaton

Theresa Eaton is Director of Marketing at private equity firm SCF Partners.  Theresa focuses on business development for SCF with companies specifically in the oilfield services, manufacturing and equipment sector of the energy industry.  Prior to joining SCF Partners, Theresa did Marketing/Fundraising for energy private equity firm, First Reserve Corporation. Theresa has worked as an Analyst in the Institutional Securities Marketing Division and Private Wealth Management Division at Morgan Stanley in Manhattan and in the Corporate and Securities group at Vinson & Elkins LLP in Houston.

Theresa has a B.B.A dual degree in International Relations and Asian Studies with a concentration in Japanese from Duke University and a J.D. from Duke University Law School.  Theresa joined the YPE leadership team in 2010.

Matt Gelotti

Matt is a Vice President in Aon's client development group in Houston.  His responsibilities include new client development and daily servicing and account management activities.  Prior to his employment with Aon, Matt worked for a regional Houston insurance agency in the same capacity.  His experience incudes working with clients in upstream oil and gas, utilities/power, and renewable fuels industries. 
 
Matt is a graduate of Southwestern University at Georgetown, TX.  Prior to his insurance career, Matt was a professional baseball player with the Milwaukee Brewers organization.  Matt is a native Houstonian and joined the YPE leadership team in 2007.

Wes Johnson

Wes is a Negotiator in the Africa Business Unit of Noble Energy Inc., where he works on commercial issues related to assets in Equatorial Guinea and Cameroon.  Previously, Wes served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Paraguay.  

Wes graduated summa cum laude from Baylor University in 2003, and later earned a joint M.B.A./Master of International Relations degree from Yale University.  Wes is a native of Fort Worth, and joined the YPE leadership team in 2009.

Steve Kolos 

Steve is an Associate at Locke Lord Bissell & Liddell in Houston.  Steven practices oil, gas and energy law, and corporate and securities law.  His work is primarily focused on upstream and midstream transactions in the energy sector.  Mr. Kolos has experience negotiating and drafting oilfield master service agreements, oil and gas leases, gas processing agreements, and gas gathering agreements.  He has also represented clients in acquisitions of pipeline assets and acquisitions of producing properties.

Steven received a B.S. magna cum laude from Texas A&M University and a J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center.  Steven is a native Hallettsville, TX and joined the YPE leadership team in 2008.

Will McMullen

Will McMullen is an Associate of Denham Capital, responsible for financial modeling, due diligence, execution and monitoring of investments. Prior to joining Denham Capital, Will was an Analyst in the Global Energy Group at UBS Investment Bank.

 

Will graduated, with honors, from Harvard University in 2008 where he earned an A.B. degree in Economics. Will is a native Houstonian and joined the YPE leadership team in 2009.
 

 

 

 

 

 		  
Kristen Nance
 
Kristen is a Corporate Recruiter with Chevron Services Company in Houston, TX.  She is responsible for the Hiring Process for both internal and external candidates on the Petroleum Engineering, Earth Sciences and Health, Environment & Safety Recruiting Team in Human Resources Regional Shared Services.  Kristen began her career at Chevron supporting both the Upstream and Downstream Facilities Engineering team.  Her previous experience includes working as a Human Resource Generalist for an Accounting firm serving clients in the Energy Industry.   While at Chevron, Kristen became an active member of the XYZ Employee Network.  She is also involved as a member of the Texas A&M Fish Camp Development Council and Association of Former Students.
 
 

Kristen is a graduate of Texas A&M University at College Station, TX.  She enjoys riding horses and competing in Hunter/Jumper horse shows.  Kristen joined the YPE leadership team in 2009.

Iann Poole

Iann Poole is a Landman with ConocoPhillips Company in Houston.  Iann is currently with the South Texas Asset team.  Iann negotiates exploration agreements, supports various asset teams and maintains relationships with external stakeholders.  Iann is also on the Steering Committee for ConocoPhillips' New Hire Network and works with Child Advocates as a Court Appointed Special Advocate and Guardian Ad Litem.
 
Iann is a native of Tulsa, Oklahoma and graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a BBA in Energy Management.  He joined the YPE Houston Leadership Team in 2008.

Niki Roberts

Niki is a Land Consultant with Mariner Energy, Inc. in Houston, TX.  She works on special projects in onshore, offshore and land administration. Recently, she has started working in the legal department for Mariner on research and project management.  Niki is a graduate of Mount Holyoke College and Phillips Academy, Andover.  She joined the YPE leadership team in 2009.
