Amy Bowe, Director

Amy Bowe is a Consultant with Wood Mackenzie's Upstream Consulting practice. Amy moved to London in November 2011 from New York, where she was a board member of the YPE New York chapter. Amy has more than nine years experience in the energy sector, mainly focused on oil and gas. Prior to Wood Mackenzie, she spent four years at Hess Corporation, most of which time she worked in Corporate Strategy. Amy has also worked as a Senior Oil Analyst for PIRA Energy, an Analyst with PFC Energy's Upstream Competition Service, and an Analyst with Ziff Brothers Investments in New York. Amy holds a Master's degree in International Relations and Economics from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) and a Bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies in the areas of Communication, French, and Political Science from the University of Arizona.

Eric Bynum, President Eric is a Senior Developer at Chesapeake where he has worked the last 5 years in their E&P Systems group. His work is primarily focused on designing and developing custom business applications that help Chesapeake manage operations more efficiently. Eric enjoys being active in the community. He is the Treasurer of his neighborhood association, Douglas Edgemere Neighbors, has mentored students at Horace Mann Elementary for the past 5 years, and recently began volunteering at the Boys and Girls Club through the new mentoring program initiated by YPE. Eric earned his degree in Computer Science from the University of Central Oklahoma. He also sits on the the UCO Computer Science Advisory Board to assist with the future direction of the program. Lopez Obeso Javier, Board Member

Javier is the Audit Manager of Pemex Exploración y Producción (PEP). He is responsible to supervise the audits performed by PEP; his tasks include detecting failures of internal control, operation and production; he also has to find out which of Pemex employees are presenting detached behaviors according to the internal regulations and the law. Previously, he worked in the Comptrollership of Pemex Refinación.

During 2008-09, Javier was honored with a Pemex scholarship to study the LL.M. program at the University of Houston Law Center. He also has a Master degree in Criminal Law from the University of Barcelona and holds a Law Degree from ITESO University in Guadalajara.

Aaron is the Senior Sales Engineer for Protos, Inc. His responsibilities include support for the engineering, design, prototype, and production stages of exploration and production tooling projects. He also assists in new product development for oilfield service providers and equipment manufacturers within the Texas and Louisiana Gulf Coast region.

Prior to joining Protos, he was an engineer for Halliburton Energy Services. While at Halliburton, Aaron worked with the open-hole wireline tooling division in evaluating oilwell lithology and hydrocarbon production potential of Gulf Coast leases.
