Nkechi Ogbue is a communications advisor at Ontario’s Independent Electricity System Operator (IESO) and has worked in public relations and communications roles of increasing responsibility since 2005. Prior to joining the IESO, she worked at United Technologies Corp. in Hartford, Conn., where she executed communications campaigns and programs at the corporate and business unit headquarter-level as well as within its Pratt & Whitney Power Systems business.

Ravi Ramdas

Director - Oklahoma City Ravi Ramdas started his career in Singapore, his home town, with Shell in 1993. Ramdas had several roles in the Finance and Trading departments with is last role managing a scheduling group and liaising with his counterpart in London. Following his stint at Shell, Ramdas worked as a trading analyst at the Singapore office of Koch, devising trading strategies in the Asian petrochemical markets in conjunction with his London counterpart. In 1999 Ramdas moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota, where he started the oil trading desk of NRG Energy. After 13 months he was promoted to head all fuels trading (natural gas, coal, emissions credits and oil) at the company. Castlen Kennedy is a manager for governmental affairs with Apache Corporation in Houston. In her role at Apache, Castlen works on federal and state legislative affairs. Prior to joining Apache, she served in the Bush administration as a senior policy advisor at the Department of Energy in Washington, DC, where she focused on oil and gas policy. Castlen has also held positions at S&B Infrastructure, RWE Trading Americas and Enron Corporation.

Stephen coordinates global YPE operations and leads efforts to empower leadership at the local level. He works currently as head of strategy at Century Interactive, a marketing intelligence start-up in Dallas. Stephen was previously an associate at First Reserve, the largest and oldest private equity firm focused on the energy industry. His responsibilities included financial modeling, due diligence, execution and monitoring of current and prospective portfolio companies.

Prior to joining First Reserve, he was an investment banking analyst in the Global Energy Group at UBS in Houston. While at UBS, Stephen worked on public and private debt and equity offerings, as well as mergers and acquisitions in the energy industry. He holds a BBA in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin and an
