The wineries are located in a former air force hanger with amazing view of SF and will offer discounted wine purchasing! We will be meeting with the winemakers directly and have a pot-luck lunch after the tastings too there at Alameda Point. On June 7th, the Allegheny County Bar Association Young Lawyers Division is hosting a networking mixer event to benefit Hello Bully (a local animal welfare charity). The event will be held after work at the Left Field Meeting Space adjacent to PNC Park. In addition to the wonderful networking opportunities at the event, there will be adoptable dogs at the event as well as an auction for a private lunch with the star of Animal Planet's "Pit Boss". Suzanne Matwyshen-Gillen, Director Suzanne Matwyshen-Gillen is Manager of Government Relations for the American Fuel & Petrochemical Manufacturers (AFPM). Eric Bynum, President Eric is a Senior Developer at Chesapeake where he has worked the last 5 years in their E&P Systems group. His work is primarily focused on designing and developing custom business applications that help Chesapeake manage operations more efficiently. Eric enjoys being active in the community. He is the Treasurer of his neighborhood association, Douglas Edgemere Neighbors, has mentored students at Horace Mann Elementary for the past 5 years, and recently began volunteering at the Boys and Girls Club through the new mentoring program initiated by YPE. Steven Shannon, Director Steven is from Houston, Texas where he grew up immersed in the energy industry. After receiving his BBA from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas, Steven worked as a project manager for CASCO Industrial Builders, leading industrial construction projects in refineries and chemical plants throughout the Gulf Coast region. He then spent two years teaching English at the University Vasconcelos in Oaxaca, Mexico. Steven went on to earn his MA in the Department of Geography and the Environment at the University of Texas with a thesis focusing on clean-tech energy, specifically analyzing policies designed to promote the use of solar water heating technology.
