YPE Houston - Matt Simmons Senior Leadership Cocktail Reception (9/30/08)

On September 30th, YPE Houston hosted the Senior Leadership Cocktail Reception with Matthew R. Simmons (Chairman, Simmons International) at the Houstonian. Mr. Simmons is the author of Twilight in the Desert: The Coming Saudi Oil Shock and the World Economy. The event was attended by over 300 YPE members and over 100 senior industry executives from a broad array of energy firms including Atwood Oceanics, Pride International, Chevron, Enterprise Products, Wynnchurch Capital, Parks Paton, and Transocean. Media sources represented included National Public Radio (NPR), Gulf Publishing Company, Hart Energy Publishing, and Oil and Gas Financial Journal.
