Stephen Cravens

Founder

Stephen is a second-year MBA student at the Harvard Business School. Prior to HBS, Stephen was an Associate at First Reserve Corporation, the largest and oldest private equity firm focused on the energy industry. His responsibilities included financial modeling, due diligence, execution and monitoring of current and prospective portfolio companies.

Prior to joining First Reserve, he was an investment banking analyst in the Global Energy Group at UBS in Houston. While at UBS, Stephen worked on public and private debt and equity offerings, as well as mergers and acquisitions in the energy industry. He holds a BBA in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin and is a native of Dallas, TX. Stephen co-founded YPE in 2005.
