Founder

Stephen coordinates global YPE operations and leads efforts to empower leadership at the local level. He works currently as head of strategy at Century Interactive, a marketing analytics company based in Dallas. He is responsible for crafting and implementing Century Interactive’s overall business strategy as well as identifying and negotiating critical partnerships that support key corporate objectives.

Stephen was previously an associate at First Reserve, the largest and oldest private equity firm focused on the energy industry. His responsibilities included financial modeling, due diligence, execution and monitoring of current and prospective portfolio companies.

Prior to joining First Reserve, he was an investment banking analyst in the Global Energy Group at UBS in Houston.  While at UBS, Stephen worked on public and private debt and equity offerings, as well as mergers and acquisitions in the energy industry.  He holds a BBA in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin and an
MBA from the Harvard Business School. Stephen founded YPE in 2005 and is a native of Dallas, TX.
